Charli is a partner at Hanson Crawford Crum Family Law Group and a certified Family Law Specialist, having attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Her practice focuses entirely on family law matters, from initial consultations to settlement or trial. Charli works with clients both directly, as their attorney of record and advocate in court, and well as by consulting with clients who are participating in mediation with a third party mediator. She is experienced in representing clients through all phases of family law litigation, from discovery and fact gathering through trial. Charli appears in the public courthouses in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties and also before various private judges in the Bay Area.

Kristy Phillips, MFTI81121, is a Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Intern. She works with children, adults, and couples in private practice in San Carlos and at Deborah’s Palm. She is also a counselor at Selby Lane Elementary School in Redwood City where she frequently works with children whose parents are separated or divorced. Kristy likes to work with therapies that stress compassion-focused and mindfulness strategies.

Janada Clark MA has been a parent educator and parent coach for over 30 years. She teaches parenting classes throughout the community including Stanford University. She has an active private practice helping single and married parents boost their parenting skills as well as teaching at a resource center for young families. Her extensive experience with single parents includes leading for over 10 years an 8 week recovery program helping parents and children transition through divorce. A frequent speaker at Divorce Recovery at Menlo Park church and other singles meet-up groups, her presentations offer practical insights drawing from her own personal experience as a former single parent for many years. She has remarried and has had 18 happy years as a step mom raising a blended family.
Janada’s topic today will focus on tips with how to help children of all ages transition through divorce as well as a few tips on dealing effectively with former spouses in shared custody of minor children.
Divorce & Relationship Recovery Groups
The non-profit Divorce and Relationship Recovery Network offers information/support groups for anyone dealing with separation, divorce and/or relationship struggles of any kind. Each meeting includes either a guest speaker or a video about a topic related to these life experiences, and then time spent in supportive and confidential support groups. Open to all.
